It’s officially world’s smallest festival line up in techno history. Rotterdam has always been hot for techno, as Karim Rave is explaining what he is seeing at the moment. ‘The city is being home base of all listed artists in the line up for Fack It Festival. Quite cool, never had an all local event before with all promising artists. Relatively young and talented people in the city are really showing they are going for it, not only taking the art as disk jockey as a fulltime job but also spending serious time in the studio to produce their music, organise events, broadcast livestreams, run record labels, handle bookings, managing clothing labels or contributing value in any other way to techno in general. It’s empowering to see and great to be part of this all happening in one city.’
The future is looking bright for techno, as shown again that anything is possible.
In 7 days Fack It Festival will take place with a maximum of 300 visitors. Few pre-sale tickets are left.
